Product vs. Patient, Generic Advertising, & PAS Framework
Home cooked copywriting examples for your enjoyment.
Hi, I’m Ben Watkins 👋 Thanks for joining another edition of La Vie Ben Rose. Every week, I unravel copywriting examples from the most recognized brands.
Happy Saturday!
This week was full of pie and running. I also learned that eating pie before a run is not the greatest idea.
And for the record, my wife makes the best apple pie (I have to hide it from my kids).
Onward and forward!
I. Product vs. Patient Headlines
Stop writing headlines about your product. Think about what your customers go through.
This example is about empathy. It’s about focusing on what your healthcare staff goes through.
II. Generic Advertising
Generic advertising is lazy advertising.
If you want to try a more conversational approach (especially in B2B), then think outside the box. A great way to do that is to speak directly to your audience and what they are doing.
Get inside their brain.
III. PAS Framework
The PAS framework is about understanding your customers.
Introduce a problem - needing energy and clarity
Agitate it - minus the crash
Solution - Clara Tea is the solution
It positions itself against energy drinks and things that give you all clarity and all crash.
