Happy Saturday!
It's very cold in North Carolina - at least for someone not used to 35 to 40-degree weather. But it’s also beautiful!
Also did an Escape Room last night with the family — and lost. I’ll stick with copywriting.
Onward and forward!
I. Parallel Structure
One of the best ways to create a rhythmic effect is to create some parallelism in your writing.
This is seen with the side-by-side, “You deliver… We deliver…”
It stands out.
II. Problem Aware Headlines
Solution-aware headlines can often be vague and don’t show much differentiation.
When you lead with the problem, you are more focused on the audience’s concerns and their problems.
And it can be a great way to differentiate you from the market that only writes solution aware headlines.
III. LinkedIn Jokes
I love telling jokes on LinkedIn - they actually help me get a lot of client work.
One of my favorite ways is to take a common hook or phrase and then twist it at the end. Because so many people use the same hook, I like to give it a twist to subvert people’s expectations.
It’s a nice surprise.
